The Home & Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids (HBAGGR) presents two Parade of HomesSM each year: the Spring Parade of HomesSM and the Fall Parade of HomesSM. The first Parade was held in 1959, featuring 12 homes on “Parade Street”. The Fall Parade was added in 1995 and both events showcase the professionalism and quality skills and products of West Michigan builders and suppliers.
Parade homes are entered by builder members of the HBAGGR, and they represent all sizes, price ranges and styles of construction by licensed contractors. There are a wide variety of hours to choose from, and we encourage you to take advantage of the Wednesday afternoons in both Parades.
Guidebooks of past Parades are available at the HBA Office from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. These are free and offer great information on area contractors, building trends and tips and association information.
In honor of this anniversary year, family pricing has been established with just adult fees of $12 ages 13 and older. Ages 12 and under get in free!

There are many great styles, developments, trends in home products and services and quality workmanship on display in this year's Parade.
A new Green Home Tour took place on the two Thursdays during the Parade specifically for just these Green Built homes! Homes on this special tour included:

#22 - Eastbrook Homes at 2895 N. Saddleridge Court in Rockford

#40 - J & J Concepts LLC at 7420 East Morgan Lane Court in Caledonia
Another special feature was a focus on Universal Design with four homes entered meeting the requirements of a home built for a lifetime. Builders with this beautiful design included:
