The first annual Builder Bash, a member mixer between the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids HBAs, was a resounding success on Thursday night at GunLake. More than 120 members from both organizations gathered at the Bay Pointe Inn to celebrate the conclusion of two successful Parade of Homes events.

The evening was filled with fun and fellowship. It culminated with the announcement of the winner of the membership challenge. Kalamazoo won the competition, which meant Grand Rapids President Rich Kogelschatz and Executive Vice President Dale Shugars dove into the cool waters of Gun Lake.

Sponsoring the event were Jim Vlasicak Mediation as the event sponsor, Whitaker-LaChance Agency as the bar sponsor, Lake Michigan Credit Union as the entertainment sponsor, the WMU Fetzer Center as the presenting sponsor and the Building Science Academy as the food sponsor.
