Earn a Professional Designation
Professional Designations through NAHB
A NAHB Designation says a lot about you. Professional designations offer excellent opportunities to improve your skills, advance your career, and be recognized for your commitment to professional growth. NAHB has the most targeted curriculum, accomplished teachers and widely respected education opportunities in the business. Start getting a designation now so you'll be ahead of the competition in the future.
First Step: Take the Placement Test
Some designations require a placement test. For Builders it is BAR and for Remodellers it is PREP. The testing centers are the same companies used by airlines, so don't be surprised if the nearest testing center is in a local airport, like Sparta or Jenison. The tests tell you which classes you need to take (we offer a lot of them locally by the way) and which ones you exempt out of (probably quite a few).
Click here for more information on the designations available through the National Association of Home Builders.
